This study aims to analyze: 1) The effect of work motivation, organizational commitment and competence partially on employee performance in Culture and Tourism Office of West Papua Province, 2) The effect of work motivation, organizational commitment and competence simultaneously on employee performance in Culture and Tourism Office of West Papua Province, 3) The most dominant variable has an effect on employee performance in Culture and Tourism Office of West Papua Province.
The results showed that: 1) Partially, motivation had an effect on performance; 2) Partially Organizational Commitment has an effect on performance, 3) Partially Competence has an effect on performance, 4) Simultaneously Motivation, Organizational Commitment and Competence have a positive effect on performance, 5) The most dominant variable that affects performance is the Competence variable, 6) Results The coefficient of determination shows that 87.6% of employee performance variables can be explained by independent variables, namely Motivation (X1), Organizational Commitment (X2), Competence (X3) while the remaining 13.4% is explained by other variables outside the model.
