This research aims to analyze: 1) the partial effects of competence, work discipline, and compensation on employee performance at the Cooperative and SME Office of Makassar City, 2) the simultaneous effects of competence, work discipline, and compensation on employee performance at the Cooperative and SME Office of Makassar City, 3) the most dominant variable affecting employee performance at the Cooperative and SME Office of Makassar City.
The research results indicate that: 1) Competence partially influences performance; 2) Work discipline partially influences performance; 3) Compensation partially influences performance; 4) Simultaneously, competence, work discipline, and compensation have a positive influence on performance; 5) The most dominant variable affecting performance is competence; 6) The coefficient of determination shows that 85.6% of employee performance variables can be explained by independent variables, namely Competence (X1), Work Discipline (X2), Compensation (X3), while the remaining 14.4% is explained by other variables outside the model.
