This research aims to analyze MSME business decision-making strategies based on Management Information Systems and e-commerce. To achieve this goal, researchers use a descriptive approach, namely a problem formulation that integrates research to reveal the social conditions that will be studied comprehensively, broadly and in depth. This method aims to systematically describe the facts or characteristics of a particular problem or field factually and accurately.
Management Information Systems are part of a company's internal control planning system which includes the use of personnel, documents, technology and procedures through management accounting to solve business problems such as product costs, services or a business strategy in decision making. Meanwhile, the benefits of E-commerce for MSMEs include: a) Saving time; b) Cross-region buyers; c) Able to increase market exposure; d) Increase customer loyalty; e) Improve supplier management; f) Reduce operational costs; g) Shorten production time; and h) Making payments is easier because it can be done online.
It is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to MSME actors in decision making strategies based on Management Information Systems and e-commerce, as well as supporting the growth and sustainability of MSMEs. This research can also provide recommendations to MSME owners/entrepreneurs in optimizing the use of Management Information Systems and e-commerce in increasing operational effectiveness and efficiency and facing current global challenges.
