PENGARUH SARANA PRASARANA DAN PROFESIONALISME SDM TERHADAP KEPUASAN PUBLIK MELALUI MOTIVASI PEGAWAI PADA PENERAPAN “SOMBERE SMART CITY” DI KOTA MAKASSAR

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze how much influence infrastructure and human resources professionalism have on public satisfaction through employee motivation in the implementation of "Sombere Smart City" in Makassar City.

The study was conducted from September to November 2023 in the city of Makassar. The type of research used was a survey by taking a sample of 198 people as respondents from a population of 6,542 people who provide public services with permits and non-licenses through the Department of Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Makassar City which was determined based on simple random sampling techniques and using a questionnaire as a data collection tool. To find out the factors that influence public satisfaction, the data was analyzed using multiple linear regression and path analysis.

The results of this study indicate that infrastructure and professionalism of human resources can increase employee motivation and public satisfaction with the implementation of "Sombere Smart City" both directly and indirectly. A factor that greatly influences public satisfaction is employee motivation. The level of public satisfaction with the implementation of "Sombere Smart City" can be said to be quite in line with the Makassar city SPBE index so that several indicators need improvement, such as data access for completeness of services, service guidance materials, competent human resources, completing work on time.
