Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of internal communication and leadership style on employee performance of PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk. The research uses a quantitative approach with associative research type. The population in this study were all employees of PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk. totalling 150 people, while the sample size was determined as many as 60 respondents through simple random sampling technique with the Slovin formula. Data collection was carried out through distributing questionnaires with the help of the SPSS version 25 programme.The results showed that internal communication has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, leadership style also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, internal communication and leadership style have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The coefficient of determination (R²) shows that 29.8% of variations in employee performance can be explained by internal communication and leadership style, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside this study. Thus, effective internal communication and appropriate leadership style are important factors in improving employee performance at PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk.
